The Castor House is nestled above the popular cocktail joint Boone & Crockett and local music venue The Cooperage in the heart of Milwaukee's Harbor District. Walking distance from a diverse offering of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood, and central to various other popular bar districts within the City, our spacious warehouse loft is a perfect home base for taking in all that Milwaukee has to offer. Good to know
This unique timber loft (newly redecorated by our new operational team - Oct 2021) is located on the water where the Milwaukee and Kinnickinnic rivers join the Milwaukee harbor on the Great Lake Michigan. This large two bedroom space sleeps 6 guests on varied bed, day bed and comfy pull out couches. The suite is located on the second story of Milwaukee's premiere cocktail bar, Boone & Crockett. The site also houses The Cooperage, the city's newest concert and private event venue, and the locally beloved Taco Moto taco truck. Take to the water by one of the three boating options. Electric Duffy boats (seats up to 12) can be rented from Milwaukee Paddle Tavern on site. Paddle Tavern Tours are booked on the grounds and Brew City Kayak rent and launch kayaks. Milwaukee Pedal Tavern tours are also booked and dispatched streetside.
Other Details to Note
The Castor House is located in one of Milwaukee's night life hubs and experiences a lively crowd and at times, a higher than usual, yet reasonable volume level. Should you be a light sleeper and wish to turn in early complimentary earplugs are now available in your unit (Located in a jar on the office desk - Oct 2021 Update)! Boone & Crockett observes normal bar hours (open until 2am nightly, closed Mon-Tues) and occasionally hosts musical performances on their small stage in the bar.

Just slightly north of charming Bay View and just south of the historic Third Ward, the site looks across the harbor to the Marcus Amphitheater and Milwaukee's welcoming Hoan Bridge.
