The neighborhood is has tons of great restaurants, coffee shops, micro-breweries, as well as grocery stores and specialty shops. There are several nice parks within a mile of the home. Hop on/off the interstate in about 3 minutes and reach Downtown Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, Froedert and Children's Hospital, and numerous other destinations in about 10-13 minutes.
